After three months of writing, practicing, and meditation designed to help me get over my phobia of video cameras, I finally delivered this talk. It highlights four strategies that help me stay grounded when navigating race. I hope it is useful for those who care about racial justice and are on the journey toward creating a healthy and whole sense of self that honestly acknowledges the collective trauma of our racial history.

Thank you so much for this very powerful talk about race. I really appreciate the strategies that you offer. Your phobia of video cameras is not at all apparent. You presented like a pro!
Racism is real and it is a very sensitive issue in this country. I am not white and can not be able to tell what it is to be white or what whiteness feels like. But it is hard to believe that humans are separated and divided into separate and exclusive biological entities.. So Sad.
